Host Verification Policy

Effective Date: 27 July 2026

1. Introduction

At Daittons Destination Support, trust is at the heart of everything we do. Our Host Verification Policy explains how Daittons verifies and approves individuals who wish to offer destination support services through the platform.

The purpose of verification is to help create a safer and more reliable environment for visitors while maintaining high standards across the Daittons community.

Hosts listed on Daittons are independent Daittons Partners, not employees of Daittons. Verification confirms that a host has successfully completed Daittons’ approval process but does not create an employment relationship or guarantee bookings or income.

2. Purpose of Verification

The Daittons verification process is designed to:

  • Confirm a host’s identity.
  • Verify eligibility to become a Destination Host.
  • Assess suitability for the services applied for.
  • Promote visitor confidence.
  • Improve platform quality and trust.
  • Reduce fraud and impersonation.
  • Support a safe marketplace for visitors and hosts.

Verification forms part of Daittons’ commitment to building a trusted destination support platform.

A host may only be listed on the Daittons platform after successfully completing the verification and approval process.

Approval may be granted for:

  • Specific service categories;
  • Particular destinations or areas;
  • A particular host classification; or
  • Other conditions determined by Daittons.

Daittons may approve an applicant for some services while declining or restricting others.

Verification and approval remain entirely at the discretion of Daittons.

9. Host Classification

Verified hosts may be approved under one of the following classifications.

Standard Host

A verified host approved to provide destination support services through the Daittons platform.

Elite Host

A higher-tier verified host who has met additional Daittons requirements and has been awarded enhanced platform visibility together with an Elite Host badge.

Elite Host classification may take into account factors including:

  • Verification status
  • Service quality
  • Professionalism
  • Visitor feedback
  • Responsiveness
  • Profile completeness
  • Platform activity
  • Compliance with Daittons standards

Elite Host status may be reviewed, suspended or withdrawn at any time.

10. Ongoing Verification

Verification is not necessarily a once-off process.

To help maintain trust on the platform, Daittons may:

  • Request updated documents;
  • Conduct additional verification;
  • Review profile information;
  • Verify continued eligibility;
  • Review complaints or trust concerns; and
  • Carry out further suitability assessments where necessary.

Hosts are expected to cooperate fully with any reasonable verification requests.

11. Host Responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted to Daittons remains:

  • Accurate;
  • Complete;
  • Current; and
  • Truthful.

Hosts must promptly notify Daittons of any significant changes relating to:

  • Identity;
  • Contact information;
  • Legal residency or immigration status;
  • Areas covered;
  • Services offered;
  • Vehicle information;
  • Supporting documents; or
  • Any matter that could affect their verification status.

Providing false, misleading or incomplete information may result in refusal, suspension or removal from the platform.

12. Limitations of Verification

Verification is intended to strengthen trust and confidence on the platform. However, verification should not be interpreted as a guarantee of:

  • Future conduct;
  • Service quality;
  • Visitor satisfaction;
  • Ongoing suitability;
  • Safety in every circumstance; or
  • Future bookings or income.

Visitors are encouraged to review host profiles, communicate with hosts and exercise their own judgement before engaging any services.

13. Refusal, Suspension and Removal

Daittons may refuse, suspend, restrict, withdraw or remove a host’s verification or listing where necessary to protect visitors, maintain platform integrity or comply with legal obligations.

This may include situations where:

  • Verification requirements are not met;
  • False or misleading information is provided;
  • Required documents are not supplied;
  • Criminal or trust concerns arise;
  • Serious complaints are received;
  • Professional standards are not maintained;
  • The host no longer meets eligibility requirements;
  • The host breaches Daittons policies; or
  • Continued listing is considered inappropriate by Daittons.

Where appropriate, Elite Host status may also be withdrawn.

14. Changes to This Policy

Daittons may update this Host Verification Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legislation, platform operations, verification procedures, host classifications or service categories.
